zini 1,939
Hi lads, Here are a few photos from the past week or so when I was out field testing Phil’s new custom Ultra .25 calibre. I’ve got to say straight away that this rifle is the dog’s nads and would make a welcome companion to any of my other rifles. The consistency of the regulator and the accuracy of the rifle is nothing short of outstanding, so much so that I have lots and lots of good hunting footage shot with this rifle at ranges up to 41 metres (44.8 yards) so far and shooting at a incline too. Rabbits, squirrels, Woodys and ferals have all fallen to this rifle so far and with ease. I’ve also done a stopping power demo in slow motion with the .25 against a .177 and .22 and all I can say is that .25 makes the other 2 calibres stand in the shade in regards to post shot damage assessment. I know that a lot of people believe that the .25 should only be used in FAC but I now have to disagree. This rifle can and as done it all at 11.7 ft / lbs with 19 grain ammo. If you do your home work and learn your calibres parabolic trajectory this rifle I believe in the right persons hands is good up to 55 metres (60.1 yards) in the right conditions, ie with a range finder and with no wind. The full review and footage can be seen on The Rise of the Verminators. If anyone is interested in getting a .25 and would like to talk to phil his contact details are also below in the photo. secretagentmole 1,701
Nice shooting and a nice gun. Interesting to see what can be done if you are good enough. Think I will stick to the .177 and .22 for now! Quote Link to post

tdesnos 6
.25 sub 12 ft/lbs hunting. Interesting! I've not shot a .25 and generally disregarded it because of the general stereotype of it being to heavy. Thanks for posting. Quote Link to post

Ratsmasher 36
out of interest were you still going for headshots with that or where shots to the heart/lung/shoulder area more acceptable? just asking so if its a question that breaks every airgun code of practice please dont come down on me like a ton of bricks ratty Quote Link to post
The Duncan 802
Nice shooting and a nice gun. Interesting to see what can be done if you are good enough. Think I will stick to the .177 and .22 for now! Me too! I love the flat trajectory of the .177 a few clicks to switch elevation between 37 and 55 yards or more and now rainbow-like trajectory of the .25. Nice looking rifle mate Quote Link to post
