i am on my 3rd now, they are great dogs. What i like about them is there (Tenacity) they will bust a gut to catch there quarry, either big +small. The ones ive had great temps loved people and not bad

ive ran collie gryhounds in the past they are a very versatile dog but talking in pre ban tearms some collie crosses are capable at catching and killing foxes single handed but i think the going gets

mate not gonna argue with anyone on this subject anymore as most are idiotic and complete breed blind, so not gonna waste my breath As said most on here on this post are really showing the key board h

Bull xs of today being all head and no quarters but one that been bred right is a custom made fox dog with agility, stamina, good feet, strong jaws and tremendous courage I.ve been around lurcher for 30 years now and every bull x that i.ve seen worked always seem to takes the fight to the fox and not getting the job done taking there time to kill the fox that why you always see them around game fairs with old injurys on and around there heads but the Deerhound xs, Slauki xs, Bedlington xs and the Collie xs and lurcher/lurcher bred dogs got the job done faster and not giving the fox time to bite.

all of them reasons are bollocks! theres nothing a good bull x can do that a good beddy x cant

Of course they cant mate of course they cant ye keep telling yourself that  Always puzzles me where all these tested bedlingtons are that they put across greyhounds at least with a collie cross they do excel at certain jobs edible game etc but a bedlington cross feck me there just plain average at best infact they have possibly as a whole gotta be the most average mediocre cross out of the lot

Maybe you just havn't seen the right ones bud,,seen them on allsorts of quarry, seen a first cross beddy bitch draw anything ,faster than a wheaton ,she pinned an 8 pointer one night til the cavalry arrived, wouldn't knock them all , they may not look the part but pound for pound a good one makes a very useful dog,,

seen a loads of beddy x's on teeth, one being honest took them week in week out till he was around 9rs another the most keenest dog I've ever seen to get stuck in took 3 in one night and happy to go digging the next day, had to be shot at 5 because every animal came on the table for him, shame as he had years left in him it. I agree the pure bedlingtons are going down hill but they seem to blend with the whippet or greyhound blood great and produce a better animal. just my opinion

fair point mate, alot of bullxs pre ban ive worked+seen will lock on any where on the fox,and in doing so will get more stick, and as above alot of other xs will try to kill right away. I had a good fox dog colliexgrey in 90 , he started like some bullxs grab anywhere, but after 3-4 foxes, he would kill right away he would shake the shit out of them , he was 26in big strong dog 1/2 hancock bred

I do like the Bull x mate but I would not have one its one of these xs that you seem to like and not have and that dog in the pic looks like a Collie/Greyhound I had years ago but he was 1/4 Border Collie 3/4 Greyhound

this has been a canny post lads im in no position to critisise the bull crosses but the bull lads need to accept that there are crosses out there ie collie x and deerhound x and bedlington x and even lurcher to lurcher x that can do the same job as the bull x .and like has been said by the sensible lads we all have our favourites but i think one lad said the right thing - as long as it does the buissiness for its owner then it dont matter what the cross is-atb bily
