mally 832
Staples in a pad??. Don't do too much too soon with the dog after you thinks it's healed mate as they have a tendancy to open up again.

Work them hard 339
It sounds like the right thing if it is a deep cut i have found the glue isnt always as efective on the deeper cuts but a couple of staples will keep it held together nicely and allow it to heal.Atleast stapled it wont open up and allow muck in. Just give it time and keep it clean the last thing you want at the beginning of the season is and infection. Edited August 5, 2011 by Work them hard
martin 332
I've never heard of having a split pad stapled before,in the past mine have had bad splits and I have never even been to a vet with it.Pads heal very quickly if you allow the time, and cover them up so the dog doesn't lick the hell out of it. Coneytrappr 30
You probably won't need three weeks, my bitch took a chunk out of hers and it took a top of two. Their pads heals very quickly, you will be suprised.
