It is x4 mag fixed so 17HMR ranges for example would be tricky. It is usable in daylight, being digital, unlike other dedicated NV scope which means either - you don't have to pay out to have 2 rifle setups for day and night - or - you dont have to swap the NV scope over if you go shooting in daytime. Also you can output the image to a screen so going NV shooting with a buddy is a bit more interesting - makes it a spectator sport. But I guess if it's your hobby and passion and you have the money in the bank why not. Quote Link to post

I just think that for an air rifle which might shoot out to 60ish yards on a good day its a bit wasted, why not get an FAC and stick i on a .22 rimmy which will be more accurate and shoot out to 100 yards. I hear what you saying about the magnification but having looked through one the field of view is nice and wide which would be perfect for a .22 rimmy and if you spending the money why not put it on a proper gun.
