i think both are ok i have just got a collie,whippet x gray but my dad is thinking of getting a beddy x whippet both good for ferreting and the lamp

beddy x whippet tend to be happier to stand about on the colder days due to the extra coat imo

my ferreting bitch,is short haired and i,ve never seen her shiver once,but she does pick surface injuries up,nettle stings etc.. where my pals beddy whippet will go through the roughest of cover and you never see a mark on him,would,nt swap tho,hope that has,nt confused you atb jamiew
