since smoochers has announced that it's shutting down i've noticed theres a lot of new members coming on here,most of which will probably be genuine people,however theres seems to be the odd anti, trouble causer, total dickhead joined over the past few days.

i just hope this site is'nt going down the same road as smoochers and i know theres only so much can be done to stop it but maybe a vote for new members might be a good idea now.

with the obvious antis etc gone i think the post contents will be far better when the season comes

Thing is lucky how do you moderate someone who may be interested in hunting and finds the site via a search engine on the web, he might not know anyone on the site, we might not know them....all we have to go on is an email address/username and our own sense of smelling an anti rat... :aggressive:

 

They can't do anything, although its better without them...just let them watch the posts....and let them get mad they can't do a thing :11:

you can usually spot the antis very soon after they sign up....i have seen them on a few sites with their stupid fecking loaded questions

I think its testimony to the tight security of this site that a couple nuisances have been rumbled and f****d off allready, you can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.

 

We wont be long in weeding the antis out on this site. If you dont post you get the chop, and if you do post, we will soon suss you out, so antis beware

it would be nice to have a locked forum , where you know that everyone is 100%

As far as I know, I dont know anyone on this site. I keep myself to myself and will probably post only very occasionaly. I would not consider myself to be the 'real deal' or a 'hard-core hunter' (whatever that is) and I kill very little game throughout the year. Does that mean I am not welcome on this site?

HCH was great,but it was never 100% infallible,and the repercussions would have been greater simply because it was a unique site. An example would have been made of anyone on that site who had been rumbled.

Wasn't that the site which was such a good idea that it landed a number of its members in court? FFS, the internet is not a safe place, no matter how much you try to lock things down, there will be leakage and that leakage is what the CPS call 'evidence'.
