over 30 years lampin , on all game, and the longest run ive ever seen was about 3 mins on a hare, on a big open field, rabbits and deer realy go more than a miniut.

 

 

I've never ever timed a run but back when I didn't know better and lamper hares, I'd reckon the longest chase I'd seen would have been closer to a 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. It's amazing how long a minute is watching a chase. Those 5,6 minute runs the plodders do put me to sleep
