dogs finally having her pups

my little cocker bitch went into her labour this afternoon and the 1st pup was born 3oclock then a lull for 2 hours and out popped 2 more but sadly one was born dead. then an hour passed and another dead one was born ,both the dead pups looked fine but no ammount of trying could bring them around the bitch is resting at the moment but breathing quite heavily so im keeping an eye on her in case anything else happens will keep you updated on any progress

thanks mate but i think shes done shes settled now and feeding so a bit dissapointing but 2 healthy little dogs that i shall keep as the mother needs an operation on her leg so i wont be working her as much

Make sure that there is not another dead one in her,if she is having such long periods between pups and then they are born dead there could be something wrong,i would advise a trip to the vets,best of luck with them anyway.

give her a shot of oxytocin, that will make her pass anything that shes got inside her. best of luck with the litter
