If mally is right and it's september time, isnt that when most people go on the stubbles with saluki's after hares? I thought it was a good read. That Bill person sounds like a dick, imping that only adults should have lurchers go hunting etc. I'm sure most people on here started hunting when they were a tot. All of the bullshit spouted on here just puts young people off taking up the sport and after all if there are no young people coming through who work lurchers/terriers/whatever then there won't be any working dogs left in the country! There's so much shit discouraging peope from lurchers on here when it should be the other way round!

enjoy youre hare stew anf give the dogs the rib cage as for the realists and gadgys who were never 16 f**k them as most dont get out enough if i wanted a hare for the pot woulndt be long in getting one,and as for antiws officers goverment servants , well we know who they are and are educated to there ways most are cant beat acoursed hare for the pot with dumplings better than any shot one ,but i will say be clever catch the game and keep it quite and rethink like the old style poacher hees hardly seen and less heard weather up the river getting salmos along the beach getting fish or in the wods with game so be clever and stay safe

It was a good read but like has been chewed into you already you should pay more attention to giving the proper dates and seasons. How old are you dances? As for other peoples "pointless" articles, if you aren't interested in them then don't read them. I find the articles very informative and she really knows her stuff. I certainly don't have the balls to even try to suggest otherwise.

atleast hes out hunting unlike computer freeks that think there hunters..the way i put it is if its for the table why cant he hunt all year to supply food for the family..i no coursing men would be mad because a half grown hare or 3/4 size isnt as much sprot as a full grown but this might be just for the pot and for bit of sport..do you think years ago men stopped hunting because of season?no because they had to keep food on the table..

I find it pretty sad to see hares lamped and especially in Devon and Cornwall as there are not huge numbers, different story in Dorset and Maybe Somerset. I guess we all do silly things when we are kids, but now it seems it's OK to spread it all over the internet, does noone any good really does it.
