We'll be busy as we have 8 foot beagles pups to bring on. We're retiring 2 over old age and one of our terriers is looking doubtful for next year as he took alot of punishment a few weeks ago so we could be breeding some terriers for ourselves

Just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit over the next few weeks, and it'll be time to start hunting groundhogs here again.

Have two young dogs and myself, a rookie, to train. Permissions are lined up and a few invitations from experienced diggers to coordinate.

Wish us luck. :victory:

mackerel fishing in the summer, ive been doing it for a couple of years now,i used to think fishing was boring until i got a boat on the cheap, and saw other people catching six at a time, and having proper battles trying to get em safely into the boat, you can look out to sea and watch the sea gulls following the whitebait being herded to the shore by the mackerel, they literally smash the whitebait into the beach,my best record is eighty three mackerel in two hours, excellent days out with a few tinnys and a couple of mates, and a cook up on a small burner and frying pan as soon as we get back to the moorings.none of the fish are wasted ,big catches go to a pub/resturaunt i use ,the holiday makers love fresh local fish.oh and my dogs come with me as well,i have to keep an eye on the bedlington /whippet because she even tries to get to the fish,i have to hold her back  .so if you get bored in the summer get yourself a cheap rod and reel and a set of feathers, and you can have some excellent sport for nothing. :D

four pups to start, 2 dogs 2 bitches all 10 months at moment, i'm well happy with the 2 dogs they've grown well and seem to be game little buggers, the 2 bitches are slightly dissappointing not as strong as i would've liked.

time will tell, we'll see whats left in the kennel by december? ;)
