Well we have joined your hallowed ranks, the wife has purchased a Suzuki Vitara, 1994 M plater, 107,000 miles on the clock. Pink 2 piece roof (previous owner was a hairdresser), that needs replacing, one rear light has cracked, there is a rus bubble at the bottom of the front wing, High and low ratios all work fine as do the manually switched wheels! £350... Bought it for driving across our shooting permission! The Octavia the wife has was threatening to ground out, so she has decided on a 4x4 and bought this cheapie!

One thing to alert you folks about is an insurance company called Sure Team, who are based in Huntingdon. She had a quote with 0 years no claims (second car you see), third party cover for £201.55 with them, cheapest quote even after confused meerkats etc, rang them up to pay, few questions, then they said they could do third party fire and theft for that, checked again and told her the quote would be for fully comprehensive at under £202, we valued the vehicle at £750 for the insurance as wel!

Great stuff secretagentmole - i got myself one of theese recently too, a 1998 hardtop jx4u and it certainley made it easier to cover ground quicker. im just getting a sump and diff guard made and gonna get some mud tyres fitted ready for the winter. Its been great standard though with a bit of air out the tyres. Lamping from a the vit is amazingly productive. i too am with sure term who where £1,100 cheaper than anyone else for me @ £500 fully comp for the year - not sure bout that canopy tho lol! Good luck with it! Atb tom
