bouncer 51 Posted August 2, 2011 Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 farmer phoned me saturday for me to go down and get rid of some rabbits,he said he wants them gone because they are in the garden and there is loads about he said.so i said i would go down tuesday with the lamp,but he wanted me down sunday with the ferrets and then lamp tuesday.so anyway i went sunday and we had 7 and lucky enough they were all full grown and none had young in them,i don,t like going this early but we did enjoy it.so out tonight to try for more for him. simonrocco 175 Posted August 2, 2011 Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 well done pal i was out last week ferreting on some permission where the famers wanting shot of the rabbits its only 4 fields but theres loads of rabbits there causing alot of damage to his crops i took my 14yr old nephew and his friend with me as there in to ferreting it was a good day we ended up with 5 rabbits should have been 7 but 2 got away due to my nephew not seeing all the holes cause of the long grass the farmer was pleased with what we caught and asked us to go back this weekend. all the rabbits that bolted and that were caught were big ones not a baby in site. s horsfield 7 Posted August 2, 2011 Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 i got the call a few weeks back to say they had eatan all his wifes marigolds so i went with the terrier and shown my face only got 3 and 2 where young un's.like the lads say youv'e got to go when they say or someone else will. i keep going now with the 410 at night .as long as they see you doing somthing mate Quote Link to post
