right lsast few weeks av been geting the bitch fit,lots of swimming as well a bike work,now my old man says shes loking under wight and should hae no more than the last to ribs showing?tryin to get a pic up but want let me at the mo,is this right about the last to ribs thing

some of the pics people have put on here of dogs that look in crackin shape have more than 2 ribs showing.

That's what it says on a big poster at my vets, but then the poster is all about the dangers of keeping an overweight pet dog. :yes:

 

I wouldn't worry about it as long as his muscle tone is good and his general condition is good (coat, teeth, etc) I wouldn't worry. :thumbs:

you will not know her running weight untill her season begins ,i don,t like seeing 2 much rib on a dog but dogs all different ,you could be doing 2 much 2 early ,my dogs are nealy running fit trough out the year so dosen,t take them much 2 get my back running fit again just few hard nigths lamping and they away again

your right rob but shes still apup realy,think i may be over oin it a little,shes up o 10 mil every other day,then swimming and a good 4 hour walk on the other days,o the bike the 10 mlie is,but it dont seen to faze her at all,she dont even pant
