coldweld 65 Posted July 31, 2011 Report Share Posted July 31, 2011 Well i've now had my .17 fireball shooting for 2 weekends ! It's total rounds todate is 26 shots fired. Three of them were fox's two adults and one cub, one was a squirrel and a rabbit ! 6 shots were to friends having a go, the other 15 were zeroing. What a Peach . Quote Link to post

zx10mike 137 Posted August 1, 2011 Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 got one myself groups on a 5 pence at 100,i tried it at 400 this weekend for the first time to see how it held that group.not amazing opened up to about 8 inches.looks like i might switch to 25grains and try them.i have a rem varmint in a accuracy international stock and love it.are you home loading and how is it grouping. cheers mike Quote Link to post

jamie g 17 Posted August 2, 2011 Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 cracking round my mate shot mine the other day and he put 3 shots into a silly little group. mine hasn't had much load testing yet also !. im going over to the 25 grain berger bullets soon. as mine is a 10 twist the 25 vmax more then likely wont shoot in it. if you got the 9 twist then your sorted.
