Rommels 7
Just Recently picked up a Tracer LedRay Tactical 400 (400 lumen), complete kit and rate it highly... (would be my suggestion) works perfectly without the filters to the full 170m claim and cuts to around 120m with the red filter which is more than ample for me and the s410. Been rather impressed by it, using it with 10x mag with the sunshade (mamba), opted for this VS a P7 or similar after seeing the reduction in light a filter makes on such similar lamps, thus opting for something more powerful to compensate for the loss, rather than changing the bulbs to a red LED which is a tad defeatist. The kit is also has everything you'll need and its certainly well built and thought-out with various mounts and the full range of filters etc... worth a look... Picked myn up at the CLA show for £105 but on the bay their around £119 link here Edited July 31, 2011 by Rommels Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
I use an Active Cree LED torch with scope mount. Runs on 2xAA batteries, 1 set lasts for at least a hunting trip for me (can run up to 7 hours), range, well over what I can shoot, over 120 metres. Beam is focusable and dimmable. Available from Tescos and it works as a torch when I am not hunting in the gloom of night! Cost including scope mount £35. 120 lumens light output, dimamble down to 12 lumens. Works well and I have had no problems with it! Edited August 1, 2011 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-7946.aspx A couple of reasons I used Tesco, delivery was fairly quick (picked up from store), also if anything goes wrong, it is easier to take it back to Tescos than Mr Hong in China! It is ridiculous to have something that is so overpowered for hunting, all you are doing is burning battery! This torch is well suited for hunting, I have used it for such and with the inbuilt dimmer it really does eke life out of the 2 AA batteries. It is small enough to be unobtrusive and powerful enough to be an effective aid to hunting! Quote Link to post
