venomviper 129 Posted July 31, 2011 Report Share Posted July 31, 2011 hi ya folks good evening to you all well what a day today i got up at 7am and was out dusting wasps nests then rats in a utility room of a house so after getting stung a couple of times i had finished dusting the nests and laid a few traps for the lovely rats in a poor womens utility room so after getting all that sorted i call phil to tell him i was on my way and to get the kettle on so with the van loaded up with my ultra, kev's ultra,and cash for kev's new r10, and my stealth i set off and when getting to phil's my cuppa was ready for me trust me folks dont let phil fool ya he is great at making tea so while phil was messing around with my ultra and the stealth i was in his gun boxes playing with all his gun (kid in a toy shop i think phil says ) so once all the ideas had passed us about the stealth phil came up with a plan and it's all go i cant wait to do the review on my new bsa/stealth well anyway after getting home for around 17:00 and having my tea it was time to take my ultra out to play as i have been trying some different pellets in her and after tonight i have found that the FX 177 pellets run very well in her i didnt think i would say it but better than the bisley magnums so getting my lamp ready just incase i went over to my permission to try the ultra out with them and after getting pellet on pellet at a lased 27mtrs i cant complain at all so after getting to my shoot i had to get a picture of the van again notice the new stickers ? so off i went for a little walk around the first rabbit was taken at 20mtrs i didnt want to go to far out with the new pellets a pure deadly head shot the rabbit didnt even wave goodbye (how rude lol). but that soon changed when i lased the second rabbit out to 36mtrs taking a deep breath and letting go nice and slow i took the shot and Mr rabbit 2 was dead nice and clean head shot i am loving the FX pellets now so then i took a walk around the other side where the badgers walk and i saw the 3rd rabbit this one lased in at 29mtrs nice and easy and now dead so off i went again just for one more rabbit and there he was sitting high as he heard me coming so i went to my knee and took the shot again a very nice hard clean head shot at 31mtrs off the nightseacher lamp (modded i must say ) so here are the pictures folks i hope you like all the best shay Quote Link to post

venomviper 129 Posted July 31, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 31, 2011 cheers lads for the comments hope all is well with you all i find the ultra great for rats very straight and easy to cock if you are used to the mmc though as to be honest it took me a good few months to get used to it but now well people on here have been out shooting with me can say that i'm pretty quick at reloading and cocking and shooting now with the ultra and the plus side is that she is small as well unlike the hornet which you have more stretch to cock the mmc i have had loads of rats with her and so far it's only the rats that would complain lol and on the plus side you can get a side cocking kit for the ultra now by the man himself tench and they not only look good but work very well to bud and one of them has just been made into a bullpup to and that has the side cocking action a little like the falcon fn19 but better food for thought bud shay 1 Quote Link to post
