chopperthewonderdog 4
On first taking our dog Chopper out with a mate lamping beside the landi he did really well but had a lot to learn. Chopper had one speed-flatout :11: and also needed to increase his fitness to keep up with this hardcore lamping :weight_lift2: When out beside the landi or on foot at our walking permissions he had only ever got four rabbits in total so we really needed to increase his fitness for the oncoming season. I managed to get ourselves a 600 acre permission a couple of weeks ago so off we went in a borrowed 4 x 4 and despite the still evenings Chopper and his dog mate Jago have been getting up to 8 rabbits between them in an hour which was a big improvement for us Chopper and Jago's haul So when we went out with our mate beside his landi again we had high hopes for the evening and Chops didn't disappoint!!! 41 rabbits in 2 hrs, Jago and two amazing pups getting 32 between them and Chopper got 9 before he had an arguement with a roller retiring for the rest of the evening. Very proud of my dog and excited about the oncoming season..... 1 Quote Link to post
