secretagentmole 1,701
A nice dollop of cement along the top of the wall and set broken bottles into it. Nice long thin shards. Let the neighbours know so they dont hurt themselves and so they can help keep a look out. CCTV and motion triggered floodlights cant be a bad idea. If you see the car on a site somewhere you know where to look if the dogs do go missing. What you do with it other than that is up to you! Lol! im sure i heard that was illegal now.i remember seeing it a lot as a kid,but think it was made illegal a few year back remember its a different country, dont know if its illegal over here, id chance it myself. So how come razor wire is legal if the glass is not?

Irish Lurcher 1,013
Jigsaw I've just renewed all my cctv system to a modern 6 camera one. I've given 5 to mates but i have 1 left. It's not the best in the world but it comes with a scart lead that you can put straight into a video. If the video recorder is longplay and you have a 4 hour tape, you have 8 hours recording time. It's a colour camera in the day and black and white at night with built in infared led's. Pm me you address and i will send it to you. Had a dog nicked in the past mate and i know how sickening it feels. There will be no charge to you at all. Fair play pal.
jigsaw 11,863
Well I may have had another visit today. The neighbour spoted a transit with 3 inhabitants, they drove in and stoped to take a look,he steped out and they drove around the terrace and out again.3 hrs later, same van and occupants and when they spoted the neighbour at his front garden they again drove around and out.It may not have been the same 2 that tried the 1st time but they were defo up to no good.AND SO IT CONTINUES. jigsaw 11,863
Frank,im furkin pissed off tonight.I was walking up to the shop when a car pulled in,here was the local traveller with his woman. The window comes down and he asks me how the dogs are doing,I have tried to avoid this bloke for weeks but every time I walk anywhere I seem to come across him.Ive told him in the past I live in an area not remotely close to my real adress, well tonight he told me where I lived, even the house Im in.I started questioning him as to who told him this,he just said a fella down the road, then I started to ask why he needed to know where I live.I told him that I had an attempted break in lately and that I was ready to protect the house at any cost.He kept asking me to sell a dog to him but I told him that the dogs would be shot before they'd be sold.we left on not too friendly terms but the fact that he knew my house and such makes me think even more so that I might have the reason why my house was checked out. Moll. 1,770
Razor wire........ manufacturers of these products tell me there is no specific legislation that forbids their use, as long as the wire is installed with reasonable precautions. This means that a material such as razor wire should be clearly visible, and not positioned in such a way that it could act as a man-trap. It should therefore either be up high, on top of a fence, wall, or roof, or else protected by an outer fence. In other words, it should not be possible for an unsuspecting, innocent party to come into contact with it accidentally. It should also be clearly signed with yellow warning triangles that say "Razor barb - Danger" or "Warning - Barbed wire". Proof of adequate signage should provide a good defence in the event of a civil action from an injured trespasser. Jiggy, i cannot imagine how horrible it must be for you. My thoughts are with you and your dogs.x. Edited August 9, 2011 by Moll.
