will getting my dog spayed change her? i love the fact when we go lamping she got a belly full of fire will she loose this when spayed ? and will she get fat ? she is 5/8 bull 3/8 grey and quite bully

if its not a mediacl reason then don,t get it done ,it dosen,t calm them down or anything like that ,and no it dosen,t change their hunting lifes if not left 2 go fat

As long as you stick to a good diet and excercise there's no reason for a neutered dog/bitch to gain weight.

Will make no difference to her temperament or working ability. If you can wait to get her done i would do it in the off season so she has plenty of time to recover and get fit for when you want her to work atb

How old is she? If she is fully matured mentally and physically then it won't change her one little bit. She will only put on weight on if you don't alter her diet.

Yeah mate, as C/G says, you may have to change her food for a lower protein diet but keeping an eye on her weight and adjusting feed accordingly combined with plenty of excercise and you wont go wrong.

I've had a couple of bitches speyed in the past and they never got fat (non-working pets so lazy f*ckers as well)

i had my bitch done last year because she was comming into heat/season every 6month and having phantom pregancys after each time i couldnt get her running right at all , everytime i just about got her fit she came back into heat/season it done my head in for 2year so i bit the bullet and got it done and she is now perfect no weight gain and no loss of prey drive.
