obi2 239 Posted July 26, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 26, 2011 i had 2 dogs that were excellent on foxes... alsationxgreyhound and a whippetxgreyhound bitch... the wee whippet cross bitch used to shake with fury when she seen them trottin up the beam!! Haha that's what I like to hear, mine stood at 22 inch and very lightly built. Got it for rabbits but after it's first encounter with fox it couldn't care for rabbits again! lurcher330 2,301 Posted July 27, 2011 Report Share Posted July 27, 2011 a good kerryblue x greyhound ,i had 1 a few years back and she was a demon on them and a friend of mine had a ridgeback x greyhound that was a great dog on all large game but 1 i would like to hear about would be a doberman x greyhound i reckon if ye got the right one it should be good we once had a pure bred doberman that was a keen killer of foxes around the hole but me da would'nt let me x her with a greyhound Quote Link to post

Guest blitz Posted July 27, 2011 Report Share Posted July 27, 2011 seen a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie catch and kill loads of foxes .sometimes faster than some bull xes.seem to have a pure hatred for them.was an outstanding daytime dog.was lined to a few good collie xes etc .but never produced anything .must have been a 1 off dog.
