spike 0
Try some tomato sauce mate. It usually gets the smell of fox sh!te for me; just rub it on & rinse it out after a few minutes. Quote Link to post

dickyboy 1
don't know how to get hte smell out but advice from here was to put something like aftershave on their neck i do this weekly as he was a cronic roller...i spray him when i put it on me so he smells good lol but it does stop him rolling, most of the time once in the last 5-6 months rather than 2-3 times daily.....he used to roll in dead stuff too!! skycat 6,174
I don't think it does them any harm as I've been doing it for years, but I use that Dettol Antibacterial spray! Squirt a load over the smelly bit, slop a load of warm water over it and scrub any crusty bits (ugh!) then rinse well: smell gone: even gets rid of dead fish smell! Quote Link to post

Ossie 11
i made the mistake of skinning some old roadkill deer heads the other day, without gloves on... i'd slung them in a bucket cos a mate wanted them for an art project, by the time i remembered they were there over a month later, they were pretty putrid (water in the bucket too) i scrubbed my hands with soap, then bleach, then bicarb, then ketchup... and my hands were shiney, with white bits, and smelt of soap, bleach, ketchup... and putrid rotten flesh.   after 24 hours of the horrid smell, and not being able to smoke without feeling nauseous (just couldn't put my hands near my face!), a mate suggested lemon juice. so i scrounged a lemon, gave my hands a soak in the juice... and the smell went right away.
