i have recently sourced tripe for sale, i was wondering if any of you feed your dogs this, if so when (summer, winter or all year round) how much and how often, i have a whippet x and i am going to start feeding her tripe as part of a balanced diet along with venison, chicken, rabbit, sprats and gain28, would appreciate your thoughts on this, cheers......john :thumbs:

i use it in the winter ,i give my dogs a IB a day with dry ,i aslo get chicken,mince and just roatate on the dry ,plus veg and mackerls,sardines :thumbs:

 

 

when im feeding tripe i like to mince it along with cow tongue, heart, liver, fish heads and anything else good i can get my hands on

yep, local butcher,have to mince it myself though

They make great freezy pops for the dogs on a hot day :D Just take it out of the freezer, chuck it out in the garden for them and they're happy.

 

I feed tripe regularly, along with everything else. Stinks like hell, but it's a good part of a well rounded diet imo.

yep, local butcher,have to mince it myself though

i bought some of the greyhound lad that was at the terrier show on sunday, €7 for 11lb minced, he also sells at the local greyhound track which is only 30 mins away, handy i thought :thumbs:

tripes ok mate,but theres not a great deal of goodness in it.dogs love it and its good to mix it with other food and encourage bad eaters to feed, but as i say ,dirty tripe dogs love it :thumbs:
