Many not so many men of terriers notly using Deben localizator no mores.

This is becoxly a proerly bettor mega collar locatorizator we buy now calling Bellend & Flintshire.

This new Bellend £ Flinshire locatorizzone is being muchly morish accuratish - (no morish digging deeply for hours in the wrong spotty)

However - costly muchly euros (some say le grande ripoff) but in GB we have a saying ... YOU ARE GETTING WHATS YOU PAID FOR.

I am in the USA. Not sure why that is a good thing, other than we can hunt all year long and have no shortage of quarry, and no antis breathing down our neck :clapper:

The Mark III locator is crap in my opinion -- fine for ferreting I suppose, but far too fragile for terrier work. It is made of very thin plastic, and would not last up under a bite or even casual wear, plus it needs to be taped to keep out water. I was loaned a unit to test, and I was afraid I would break it just on loan. The ferreters need a very small unit, but with the dogs we need something that can take a little bit abuse, and the Mark III is NOT that collar.

The Deben LRT locator for terriers is well made and works well over here in the US, where our pipes are very tight and not too deep (we rarely have anything over 8-feet, and almost nothing over 15-feet that I have come across). The Deben LRT is water proof and is pretty easy to use (though it is pretty loud, which is not a bad thing on a very windy day).

I am still using my old Mark I collar, and with 4 or 5 working collars and two working boxes, I find nothing to complain about. If my current system died on me right now, I would get a Deben LRT. They are being sold by the JRTCA here in the US. See >> http://www.terrier.com
