I bring the young kits in the house and show them DVDs such as the warrener and Simon whitehead , and I leave a smart phone in the hutch so they can watch the jcr crew on you tube , I find this brings

i always have my kits running drainage pipes before there took out on there first ferreting trip which is around 7 to 8 months old it gets them used till dark places and keeps them fit ready for there

Just had some good luck, just been up in the loft, only to find 18' of waste soil tubing left from when the plumbing wad redone in the house, has even got a 90deg. bend on it. Gonna get the jeye's fluid out in the morning and give a good clean, then after the ferrets have been fed they can have a go down the tube. Will let you all know how they get on.

I also have had Ferts for 40 years, there's a lot of good advice been said, sometimes I had an experienced Ferret to work along with novices other times just novice youngsters, I never bothered with tubes or pipes, but what I did have, was a 100 percent dog marker, so I knew that they were at home,

This time is going to be different for me as I no longer have her, just a young pup and two novice Ferrets, common sense really, don't put your youngsters in to deep large warrens, and you should be okay, have a bit of patience with them, and you will be fine.
