Guest Eamon.Mc
Out yesterday with another member of this forum for our final dig of the season. Weather was abismal but we cracked on regardless. Checked a few holes that had'nt been done in a long time but found nothing.Went on to some bog land and checked a few more earths and bolted a small vixen. Got some lunch and moved on. We then went to an earth that's a favourite of FREDRICKS the other member I was with. In all there was 4 of us we'd 2 other lads also. When we got to the earth the terrier gave a positive mak.He entered and was soon on.We gave him time to settle and had a reading 1.1 on the box. We dug down breaking through right on top of the terrier. Those bloody B&F locators too good IMO.We then proceeded to draw a big fox and let him run for another day. Shovels are now hung up for next year. Here's a few pics. Edited March 13, 2007 by Eamon.Mc Quote Link to post

valerio 32
You are lucky, open fields and diggable earths, yesterday morning I was out and I spent all the time swearing between rocks, caves and incredibly thick mediterranean bush. The worst thing was the dog having no less than 30 porcupine thorns in varous parts of his body .
