They have got enough ammo and they will make stuff up to prove a point. If you don't enjoy the other aspects of hunting/shooting then go to Pigeon Watch. They don't like any other fieldsports apart from shooting and they can post pics of shot foxes all day long and people can slap their backs. If that is your thing, fair enough, nothing against it, but don't try and change things on here because its not your thing. Quote Link to post
Lab 10,979
Imagine shooting cubs and then putting up a photo in the relevant section......how could you!!!........ 1 Quote Link to post
bangerstox10 3
This is the way of the country / field sports :victory: . Shooting them is the most humane way of doing it! Thats providing you shoot to kill every time. So letting your dog get hurt from trying to kill the fox is good for your dog? I don't think so! I thought hunting with dogs was banned? Also good shooting on getting those little buggers! I have a date with a few foxes Quote Link to post

Lab 10,979
Out of interest what do you all do with your dead foxes? Through them in the bushes out of site like everybody else, what do you do?.. Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
What kind of farmland were they shot on out of interest? Alright Ideation, these particular ones were shot on a couple of small holdings that are next door to each other, and they both have chooks and both have lost some over the last few days.I have another two places close by as well that are having real trouble with chook killing foxes,so expect more of the same.....lots of dead cubs!! Martin Cheers for the reply mate, and crack on. I just always find it a bit difficult to understand when you see folk out on large arable farms, dropping cubs in July. . . . . . when all that is raised there abouts is wheat, corn, maize etc. . . . . and they call it pest control. 1 Quote Link to post

Stand there beaming like an idiot, whilst taking numerous photos of the dead beast, and composing your next THL post. And then lob it in a hedge. Although before that i usually cut the tail off to scare children with. And i have promised my missus that i will skin them this year so she can make a coat. . . . .seriously, she's nuts. TWOTWOTHREE 152
Nice shooting Martin,is this one of them posts thats getting out of hand, really is there any need? Anyway forget that, the be all and end all of the matter is they have been dealt with the humane way,I deal with them in the same way and after dark tonight I'm going out to sort one or two my self, they may be on stubble or standing crop, but that's the way they go to get to my fouls, and apart from putting up signs iin fluent fox saying stay away till ur fully grown,I shall deal with them the only way I know !!!!! .223 !!!!! , happy hunting folks. Piss takers join the knitting forum and let us do our thing I could argue the toss like you antis but i wont waste my time, this is the first time of being on this site and replys to a post has anoyed me,any antis eat my ass, atb to the genuine foxers, Quote Link to post

I gotta say I like the sound of your Mrs 'ID'. On another point you made about shooting foxes on arable land(and I do if I have the stalking there)it is definitely necessary, and here is why....... You would be surprised how many kids are taken by Foxes trying to feed cubs. Martin Quote Link to post
