Blue one 89
I can't believe the Saluki or Saluki Hybrid isn't more popular down hear, as the land we were on would be perfect for coursing !! Cheers. Some great pics and hunting. I hear, that their is saluki hybrids over their, that are regularly used on hare, but just heard this at a show couple of weeks ago. Quote Link to post

chartpolski 25,467
The first draw was over a large grass paddock towards an abandoned quarry, We were at a vantage point and saw a fox enter the rocks, so we were straight there and a terrier was entered. Quote Link to post

chartpolski 25,467
The hunt caught up with us and waited while the terriers were working the fox. It sounded like the terriers were settled in so the hunt moved off, and, Sods Law, a fox bolted as soon as they left. I slipped the 'Roo dog on it, but it got back amongst the rocks. chartpolski 25,467
We got one terrier out but the other went missing, not a sound from him ! We waited around and suddenly he appeared, so they were boxed up and off we went to catch up with the hunt. Quote Link to post
chartpolski 25,467
The hunt were having a grand day, covering a large amount of ground and jumping some stone walls and fences. Quote Link to post
chartpolski 25,467
We had a great day out, but it got better as we got back to the meeting place. We let the dogs out to stretch their legs before the journey home, and the 'Roo dog took off on a hot scent, and soon pulled a fox literaly yards from where the hunt had set of !! So the final score was Fox Hounds Nil - 'Roo dog one !! LOL !! Edited August 13, 2011 by chartpolski Quote Link to post
