hello

i used to go here when i was a kid to fish next to the light house of the cliffs..it used to be great for mackeral during the day and doggys and pollock at night,,,so anyone still fish there?

I take it you had many a happy days fishing there? I used to fish a mark like that in Dublin, a wee fishing village called Howth, them were the days.

it was fantastic mate used to spend e few days at a time there in the tents...great fishing in the middle of nowhere,,used to eat the fish we caught, cooked them on a fire or little stove,,,im going to head up their sometime again to have a day or so fishing,,will have to blow the dust of my kit,,been using dogs to much..

Yeah know what ya mean about the dogs, I still do a lot of Pike angling, but have not sea fished in a while, fresh mackerel gutted and burned on a pan, ya cant beat it.

is that the lighthouse at drumore? fished off the boat next to them cliffs last summer. caught my pb pollack of 6 lbs its good tope fishing off that point too mate if the doggies would leave you alone for 5 minutes lol. very deep im lead to believe

my sister stays in cambeltown she had a cottage at a place up there called tangi beach moving with rabbits every time i go up i take my rods had some lovely pollock and sea trout some amazing cenary up that way

yeah doggies a night mare...still good to catch though,,,,im defo going to go up this summer for a day or two,,,cant wait havnt been fishing for ages,,

me and my dad always make a point off going up there every year but didnt go last year due to the fishing acceident which happend but what we offten do is go to the mull and fish for a couple of nights then travel down to cairn ryan for the day and fish but its some place for fishing i recomend any one to go up and fish my dad says fishing has improved up there over the years and is one of our favorite spots
