And now for the brighter side

Recommended Posts

Following on from the 'regrets' thread, what things have you done in life that you are really glad you did?

For me the obvious stuff: getting into shooting and cooking, motorbikes and sowing some wild oats when I was younger (!)

Appreciating that my university days were some of the best of my life whilst I was experiencing them.

Setting up a business and finding an occupation that i enjoyed.

So come on folks - spill some beans!!!

My kids have to be the best thing i ever did even if i did it young but i wouldnt have it any other way now.Done a lot that when i looked back turned out to be the best thing i ever did.Andys the latest good decision he brings out the softer side in me and certainly im far calmer around him that ive ever been and i dont smoke a qaurter of what i did before cos he doesnt smoke so i tend to try not too.I do truely believe everything happens for a reason and you are who you are because of everything good or bad and that the bad things are just learning curves

Being born where i was, to who i was. f*****g some stuff up at a young age, that led me to be forced to go over seas. . . . and f*****g loved it, which led me to spend as much time as possible traveling and exploring the world. Getting the balls to chuck stuff in a back pack and move over seas for a good few years living off my wits. Moving back home to care for my grandfather when he was dying. Sticking a thread up on here looking for hob ferret kits, which led to meeting my hunting partner. Meeting the woman i love in passing, and actually having the brains at the time to see her for what she was, convince her to quit her job, ditch her fella, and move over seas with me. Not breaking up with said woman when she had to move back to the U.K, and jacking my life over seas in for her. And a whole host more.
