B.P.R 2,798
Tyson fury is slower than a week in jail. No match for haye or klitschko bro's. On the other hand he took some digs and looked pretty fit for his size. He's only 22 so he's got time to improve. Hope he brings home the bacon for the uk. If he doesn't he will bring home the whopper with extra BACON.
bird 9,926
well just watched it, and thought what poor heavyheights they were , neither had a good punch for that weight. Either of C Brothers would beat them NO PROB

gnasher16 30,121
To give the kid Fury his dues he,s better than i thought.....certainly not a tidy or technically good boxer and doesnt punch his weight.......but seems to be a kid with limited talent and ability but willing to make up for it with pure effort and determination....and i admire that. He has a good attitude to the game, can take a decent shot and has a decent engine......at his age,and the sheer awkwardness of him sizewise with a good trainer who knows how far he might go.....In todays times a heavyweight just doesnt need to be an accomplished technically gifted fighter...... Fury needs to cut the nonsense out but best of luck to him that was a good win at this stage of his career. Just trying to keep me peepers open for the Khan fight now Edited July 23, 2011 by gnasher16

arcticgun 4,548
really enjoyed the fight, chizora looked in poor shape for a defending champ, tyson looked fit but lacked power maybe? but fair play to Tyson he got rocked and came through, looking at his age and the state of the heavyweight division, likes been said above with the right people round himn he could go far, best of luck to the lad, fair enjoyed that fight ,pissed on mr hayes performance and cost nowt to watch Edited July 24, 2011 by arcticgun

Stanleigh 135
The most worrying thing for me , ( if he wants any sort of longevity in the game ) is there is no improvment , he,s in big trouble if he sticks with friends and familey to guide him , his corner didn,t have a clue . Unless he gets himself a decent trainer this is as far as he ll get.
squint 17
Tyson seems to have taken his training a little more seriously since i last saw him fight but still a little flabby . For me he needs to take on a trainer who has a pedigree. He needs to cut out the showboating to the crowd whilst in the ring . He needs to get out of the habit of looking to the floor and whiping his nose or he will get tagged. The lad should use his size to bully opponents around the ring. Left jab to size them up and land with combinations and big rights. Still young and i like him . If his outfit and regime becomes more proffesional he will make a Great living from the game and maybe win a few titles. Goodluck. Must agree with you 100% max,IMO that blowing nose after a break and leaving him self wide open thought chisora would have taken a chance on landing one when there was the moment of him being off guard... All in all a good performance, still a young lad, took a few good punches which probably pissed off a few knockers who expected him to go down. Don't think he's in the Klitschko rankings yet,but theres time,of which he has on his side.. And a big to khan aswell,a good night for English boxing. Well done lads
fcuktheban 140
He needs to learn to keep his gloves up and put in more uppercuts but he did a great job staying his ground at his age. Now he needs to hold onto that belt as long as he can before his next match. Loads of practice in store I'm sure.
Simoman 110
Del boy looked dangerous at times and thought he may catch Fury. As gnasher says i dont think he punches at his weight, at 6"9" and 18/19 stone he should be knocking peoples heads off. I think he needs to improve his training team and camp if he wants to go further BUT you can only beat who is put in front of you and he did that so congrats......................I don't think either of them would of got past the third with Lennox Lewis........ stewie 3,387
him and kevin mcbride would be one of the greatest fights of all time lol

Also........Freddie Roach has gone on record as saying Amir Khan is better at his age now than Manny Paquiao was at the same age Theres no point comparing young kids just starting out in the game to accomplished world champion veterans of the sport. Tyson Fury is a promising talent nothing more nothing less......at anything but heavyweight he wouldnt be a talent, but the heavyweight division throws up far different challenges to any other division.
