Dont give me all this "she couldn't stop nonsense" because thousands of people do it every year....they get of drugs because they try to do so without thousands of pounds of help either. But when you are in the middle of an addiction, especially in a world surrounded by those 'yes men', where you are just a part of some kind of grotesque celebrity pantomime, i think many would have a problem seeing the 'wood for the trees'. fireman 10,867 Posted July 23, 2011 Report Share Posted July 23, 2011 It don't just take 5 minutes to give up drugs lab and it does take support from those close to you to be able to see there's light at the end of the tunnel and saying that god help any one if they ever need any help off some of you on here because they've fecked up .Also with most junkies you know where you stand with them where as with a few of the folk i've met in the dog game they've no excuses for being the w*nkers they are. Not for one minute would i ever say it would be easy but it 'can' be done if the person is willing.........she wasn't and has paid the price. I knew someone when i was young, someone i looked up too actually and he decided to go down the smack route and robbed a family member of mine. If it was this day and age i would have smashed his f*****g face in but it was a long time ago and i was a youngster............he's been off it and on it and now f**k knows what he's is doing but i bet deep down he regrets it... Thing is we don't know which one killed her. . . . She was looking healthier recently, might have come off the smack, then tried a wee hit yesterday and bang. . . . .too strong. . . . . Whats there to know , you either go down that road or you dont , addiction is somethin the individual has to conquer or carry on with , A.W. had more than enough money/professional people around her to seek help though i dont say gettin off any addiction is easy , someone said on the news she should off had someone lookin after her 24/7 she is 27 not 7 , she could off sought help anytime but chose not too ! Theres 2 types in my eyes........the type who can afford it and the type that cant. the ones that can afford it i dont have a problem with as they are only hurting themselves.....the ones who steal and mug people to feed there habit can all f*****g die tomorrow for all i give a f**k. All uproar and middle class people going mad...fact is though its the social drug takers and people that say they dont have a problem and its harmless fun at weekends thats giving money to the dealers and the gangs ...if they choose to take drugs its their problem but cant moan bout the gangs then if your giveing them the money and power.. amy winehouse did go cold turkey she went carribean and was meant to be free she put on weight the lot but soon as she came back to london same old scabs prob feeding her stuff for free..
