i belive mixing dogs upset quarry to much and can at times make work harder for them selfs but are sometimes useful to have around and as for bayers i belive they still have to tango from time to time to get the job done a bayer for me is better so long as there not standing off just wanted to see your views on it maybe back your views up with pictures to enhance the topic a bit thankyou.

I think mixing dogs are by far the best tool for digging with. Out and out bayers are fine but when push comes to shove they just don't compare to the mixer who is willing to stand his ground and put the pressure on. Hard dogs and bayers both have their uses but to me a good sensiable mixing terrier that will stand their ground and stay the distance are the best job for the job

I will agree with dev on this one,a mixer is the best tool, especially on educated game.In my mind a bayer would be a waste of time on something that has seen it all before,it would end up diging all over the place without a result and the earth f****d up.
