hi all,i have been given some pellets which i don't know the brand etc of :whistling: (in bags not tins!),i know some are logun penetrator,and would like to work out the grain,is there a sum of some description i can use to do this?thanks ... :hmm:

 

i have googled this but didn't really find anything useful...

count 100 of the same type of pellet, put them in the good old kitchen scales, read of the weight, divide by 100, weight in grams per pellet, then find gram to grain converter, job done!

..............................................................You could check your answer with say AirArms Field pellets they weigh 15.9 grain get 100 of them .

16.00 Grains in .22

20.50 Grains in .22

 

Defiants come in

 

7.50 Grains .177

15.00 Grains in .177

 

14.00 Grains in .22

18.00 Grains in .22

Logun Penetrators was boxed in Plastic Boxes -

Now sold as Exterminators - Loguns / Wenbley's - gave them up last close Down

In .177 - S - 4.48 / M - 4.50 / L - 4.52

.22 - S - 5.48 / M - 5.50 / L - 5.52
