smithie 2,443
once i went to the great yorkshire show and i had taken the day off without pay as i had used all my floaters, the brother inlaw had decided to join me as he fancied the day out so i called around at my sisters about 6 oclock to have my breakfast and a brew before i we set off. this particular year it had been moved forward for some reason or another and when we got there the carpark was fair empty...... well if it wasnt for the tumble weed blowing through it would have been emty. i sent the inlaw to ask the security what time the gates opened and as he was talking to the nice chap i could see him burning up. i had only got the wrong day and he had lost a days wages (£150) now every year for the past 4 years i get stick at work, every body comes around to laugh at me and point there finger. the worst bit is i was 2 months early :icon_redface: oh i f*****g regret that

The Duncan 802
what doesnt kill you makes you stronger.. Nietzsche wasn't always right. Falling from a cliff might not always kill, but it can leave you in a coma Regrets? Where do you start? Splitting up with a girlfriend who had the body of a sculptors model, leaving a cushy high paid job because the boss annoyed me occasionally, not going fac/sgc many years earlier. I could go on, but I won't Live from today forward, and remember that you spend a long time dead. Guest dances
Never regret anything because at the time it's exactly what you wanted - don't know where I got that but I try to live by it. If I'd regretted things I'd probably had never met my gf or had my beautiful newborn daughter

NEWKID 27,205
I don't know if they're regrets, but there's things that have happened in my life I wish hadn't, but your not always in a position to control or alter that anyway so you can't regret it. I've recently lost someone who was really close to me and I guess I regret not spending more time with him towards the end, it wasn't the way I wanted to remember him, so to see him in pain and wasting away was maybe to hard for me, I guess I regret how you take things, people, time for granted, it's human nature to think nothings gonna change and when it does it rocks you a bit and makes you sit back and reflect.
