I am a Weihrauch fan and have had 97k, 95k and currently own an HW100S, classic length. Had it for 5 years now and it has accounted for thousands of bunnies over the years.

My 95K was a real tack driver. When I did my job right, I could get pellet on top of pellet at 35 yards - not half bad for a springer! Never tried a springer off a 'pod as I always shoot free-hand. Doesn't a pod affect the POI?

My 95K definitely got smoother with use.

Weihrauchs are hard to fault IMHO.

Wonderful rifles, Weihrauch. Nothing else beats them to be honest :notworthy: . I've owned an HW35E Export.22, an HW95k .22, several HW80s including the two 80s' I have at present and my beloved HW77 .22 full-length rifle. All of them have proved themselves in the hunting field countless times with absolute reliability and phenominal accuracy. In my opinion the HW77 is the finest spring underlever air rifle you can buy. It's still better than the HW97 that was intended to replace it -and that is an amazing rifle too.

If I was ever to turn to PCP shooting, the HW100 would have to be the one to have.

I put the 95 into a 98 stock as I liked it more..

I then acquired a Custom stock for it quite soon after

I also have an early (pre safety catch) HW35e that was cammo'd

I've stripped it off, it still needs work though such as the chequering recutting as the tops of the diamonds were rubbed away :( also the action needs more polishing then rebuing..

heres my well scruffy elderly '80, made in west germany, and as accurate as my pro sport, when the weathers 'orrible this is the first gun i grab out the safe as it doesnt care what conditions it shoots in. just about the perfect break barrel, for me anyhow...
