B.P.R 2,798
Couple of years back Seen a lad trying to do the jumps on a little hill. Two lads went at the same time from different ends and met in mid air. The teeth from one stuck in the others head just above the eyebrow. Blood everywere and that must of hurt. Must off been a dog closely somewhere.....
DUCKWING 302
I THINK ANYONE THAT HUNTS WITH A DOG WILL HAVE A STORY ...... I CERTAINLY HAVE A FEW ,... ONE OF THE WORST WAS WHEN I HAD A DAFT PUP OUT LAMPING , I ALWAYS START THEM ON THE LAMP FIRST AS IVE FOUND THE RETRIEVE TO HAND WITH A LIVE ONE COMES EASIER TO MOST ....ESPECIALLY SALUKI BLOODED COURSING LINES ..... ANYWAY THE BITCH WAS MENTALLY VERY PUPPYISH ...... IT WAS THE END OF SEASON AND EVERYWHERE HAD JUST ABOUT BEEN RUN TO DEATH , APART FROM A LOCAL KEEPERED SPOT THAT WAS KNOWN TO BE VERY " HOT " WELL OFF WE GOES .... ALLS WELL FOR ABOUT THE FIRST HOUR A GOOD FEW IN THE BAG AND THEN I GET HIT BY A LAMP FROM A MOTOR THE SIZE OF A BIN LID ,.... TALK ABOUT LIGHTING UP THE FIELD , !!! I SET OFF TO THE WALL AT A JOG WITH THE PUP THINKING IT WAS A GAME RUNNING INTO ME , GRABBING MY COAT SLEEVE ... THE DAFT SOD HAD ME OVER TWICE IN THE FIRST FIELD WITH THE 4X4 CLOSING QUICKLY NOT TO PANICK ...... I THINK , A WALL HERE ..... OVER I WENT , TROUBLE WAS IT WAS A GOOD DROP ON THE OTHERSIDE , I WAS DAZED WITH THE PUP LICKING MY FACE AND MY HEAD SPINNING , THE BATTERY HAD FLICKED UP AND BANGED MY HEAD , I PULLED MYSELF TOGETHER AND JOGGED TO A WOOD , THE PUP STILL RUNNING INTO ME AND MY TEMPER RISING BY THE SECOND ....... WELL I DROPPED ON TO THE ROAD AFTER STASHING THE LAMP ETC AND SET OFF AT A STEADY PACE TO THE MOTOR , WHEN JOHNNY RAMBO AND HIS GANG TURNED UP IN THE 4X4 , APPARENTLY THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE A LOWLIFE SUCH AS I A HAMMERING AND NOT BEING THE TYPE TO TURN DOWN AN INVITATION I PROMPTY SET TO ... LAYING LOW THE TWO BIGGEST AND STARTED TO CONSENTRATE ON THE MOUTH PIECE WHEN I FELT A SHOOTING PAIN UP THE LEG , FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER TWO ........ THE DAFT PUP HAD LATCHED ON TO MY THIGH IN THE DARK ,.... HOWS ABOUT THAT FOR LOYALTY ????? ALL THE BEST DUCKWING

gnasher16 30,281
Almost lost a thumb some years back when a big old pit bull went crackers on my friends yard....the dog was all over him and did a lot of damage, ashamed to say his injuries were probably worse than they could have been if me and 2 other lads hadnt of stood there like a bunch of frozen to the spot petrified girls !....Got the dog off eventually we all ended up with injuries mine were a whole bunch of stitches on the hands and arms and microsurgery to save a thumb.Very bad day Edited July 22, 2011 by gnasher16

Simoman 110
Had a couple of bites when man work training, a German Shepherd latched onto my arse, everybody found it highly amusing at the time Another time a Bouvier Des Flandres put two fangs into my forearm on a misplaced bite.....Worst one was about 12 years ago my old terrier used to like grabbing anything to hang onto and decided she liked the draw cord of my jacket so she jumped, missed and bit my testicles, had me pole axed on the floor and at the docs the next day as everything went swollen and black

Moll. 1,770
My old bullx was a pup. I bent over to pick up a stick she has been playing fetch with, at the same time she shot her head up with that big daft smiley panting mouth, we connected, she split my eye lid open and punctured my eye ball. It brought tears to my eyes for several days
Bosun11 537
I'd agree with Duckwing, there's usually plenty to tell... I've had my fair share but the worst i've seen was with a mate of mine on a pre-ban foxing night. Bad night, put the miles in and only one fox to show for it. Decided, against our better judgment, in the early hours to try a local speck, a park. Anyways, lamp on, few foxes about, backs to the railings and call. Two are flying in but one of 'em's coming so quick it's on a feckin motor bike! 'Slip'...! But the dogs ain't gone, he's somehow caught himself up on the collars! Fox is almost on top of us and he lets go. Fox does a little side step, dogs overshoot and foxy runs into the shrubbery next to us, with the dogs following in behind. My mate goes running over and standing on the path, shines in and encourages the dogs on. Out busts the fox and he spins round to put the beam on it, then bang! I see him doing a triple salco in mid air because two big dogs have burst out and hit him from behind. He really did somersalt and came down hard on his head, the battery, on an over the shoulder bag, came down on his mouth too. He's out cold, I think he's dead and there's claret fecking everywhere!! He was over a week in the hospital, severe fractured skull, his lip needed stitches too but it could of been worse, much worse. the vertibra in his neck had taken some damage, doctors kept saying he's lucky not to have broken it.. It was a while before he came out for a shine again, this time we were more careful, we had a crash helmet waiting for him in the motor, he had to see the funny side.
