windyhill 30 Posted July 22, 2011 Report Share Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) HI, I GOT SOME LAND LAST NIGHT ITS ABOUT 700 ACRES AND WE GO THERE EVERY YEAR ON THE CAMP SITE THE FARMER HAS, LAST NIGHT MY DAD WAS BOOKING THE SITE AND ASKED ABOUT RABBITS,THE FARMER IS OVER RUN WITH THEM THERE EVERY WHERE HE SAID WE NEVER KNEW TILL LAST NIGHT THE FARMER OWNED ALL THE LAND AROUND THE VILLAGE ITS LIKE ALL MY CHRISTMAS S HAVE COME AT ONCE I CANT WAIT, NOW DAD WONT COME WITH ME BECAUSE BY WHEN ITS DARK AT 10 ISH IN LATE AUGUST HES HAD TO MANY AND HE THINKS MY LAMP IS RUBBISH BUT IS REAL REASON IS BY THEN HE CANT SEE SO IS THERE ANY LADS ON HERE WHO WOULD COME AND SHOW ME THE ROPES WHO HAS ALL THE GEAR AS WELL ITS 17 MILES OF THE M5 IAM NOT GOING TO GIVE THE EXACT LOCATION BECAUSE I KNOW SOME ON HERE POACH AND THEY WOULD BE STRAIGHT ON THERE AND THE FARMER HAS TOLD US NO ONE ELSE HAS EVER LAMPED IT. Then when you do start try to pick the rabbits right out 25-35yds, so the dog as a good chance to pick one up. If you get ground like this (look after it) go on your own 1st, then maybe ask a good mate who you know very well, because you could loose it dead easy if to many go on it. 4 Quote Link to post
