jayjay 264 Posted July 21, 2011 Report Share Posted July 21, 2011 when you have a go drifting for bass,try out of port eynon,around to the right hand side, by worms head,i've had some real good fishing there for bass over the years,catching some real good size bass on live sand eel,and live mackrel,great fun. all the best, jay. My 9 year old daughter loves fishing so I wanted something big enough for the two of us. I bought the malibu xl angler from mainwarings who did a great deal for us In total, with all extras I spent about £800 :sick: There does seem to be some pretty reasonable one man kayaks about going from £300-£500 with lots of gadgets added! There is a kayak fishing competition on Saturday at Oxwich.....not entering but will be there trying for bass. Quote Link to post

Free lining a live mackrel over the reefs in falls bay produces some fine specimen bass every year. If the weather is right watch out for the birds working, chances are there will be a shoal of bass below them. TC 1 Quote Link to post
