These damn beef springs!

 

Seriously though, don't touch an Ox spring, they ruin perfectly good rifles (and often the wrong one is fitted, taking them over the legal limit)

 

As for the SMK, the man asked for a DECENT rifle!

 

I have an original Theoben Scirocco, runs at about 10.5 ft.lb, shoots straight and true. £200.

I'll grab some pics tomorrow when it's sunny again. Posting via RFD would add about £30 onto the cost, depending on who you use. Where abouts in the NE are you? I will be meeting up with some mates from up your way in a few weeks time and could poss send the rifle up with them?
