I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole mate, there shite. Had one and edgar brothers had it in there workshop more times than it was in my cabinet. It kept jamming and breaking the c clips on the mag tube. If you shoot large loads on the geese etc there just not up to it. Trust me my mate has a gunshop and he's stopped stocking them

Me and a friend bought one each about 3-4 months ago been giving them a bit of a hammering and they havn't missed a beat, love the thing fits a treat and I'm hitting a lot more with it than my old sxs

Like he said they just cant handle the heavy loads,i,ve got the webley&scott 810 and its got i life time warrenty,thats about the same sort of price.

Four years I have used and abused my 3.5 inch Hatsan, never cleaned often enough very rare it hicups cept to remind me it does need cleaning now and then , had thousands of cartridges through it including magnums and no spares needed not even an O ring . Its one of them makes you get a good one or a bad one , love em or hate em.

I dont love my Hatsan but for what it cost and the warranty you get I could throw this one away and buy another .

I have the 3" in mossey oak, its never missed a beat in 18 months its fired well over 10,000 32g loads, and about 300 full 3" magnums for the foxes,,,, secret is to keep the outside of the mag tube WET always wipe with an oilly rag,,, the dirt from the gas ports builds up this wears the O ring which means it will leak or break, its every bit as good as the Remington 1100

All i use in mine for fox is Alphamax BB or the odd 2 3/4 mag in BB both kill clean at 50yards, with shot of BB or above one pellet is all you need, the Alphas give a good even pattern,, i did try 3" with AAA too big too many holes in pattern

had it replaced to wth a all black one so we will seeif this one play up i will never have any more hatsan escort . what is the most grm you can put down them ?

been out to day and put 25 36grn and 5 42grn and all good got 7 crows 12 pigeon 3 mags and the hatsan escort never miss a beat well happy with this one
