how do you get them swimming mate ?

Got mine swimming by taking them to a shallow beach and throwing treats around. Started throwing them close the the waters edge then slowly started throwing them out a bit deeper. 2 of them love water now and 1 is fine with water but won't go in unless he has a reason to.

Mine start this week. They will be getting 3 miles roadwalking for a fortnight, followed by 2 miles on the bike for a week, then a mile roadwalking and free running exercise for a week, then it will be 4 miles on the bike and free running exercise until the season starts. Then lamping will get them really fit. I'll take some before and after shots come September

This is the first time I will be getting a dog fit so I hope I get him nice and fit. I enjoy a run so My lad who is now just over a year old comes with Me every other evening we do 5k at a good steady pace. He is running loose and in and out of everything along the way so god knows how far he does. On the nights in between our runs He gets a good walk, with free running. I have also started sitting him and stay I walk off about a 100yards and whistle him in He comes at full pace. I do this up a nice long steady grass verge. I have also upted the amount of food He needs to keep him fit and strong.
