hello people,is there a best breed or cross of dog for lamping?or are they all pritty much the same its how you bring them on

there is no right or wrong answer mate, people are just going to come on telling you what they have and saying its the best. also depends what you want to run with it and what the land is like where you are.

depends what ya running on that lamp lol and saluki greyhounds no good for lamping i disagree i went out last night and saw 4 caught on the golf course and seen them catch huge numbers on various land whippets to small??? dont no what stock you have seen but cant be very decent bull x is your dog for lamping then lol big old dopey dogs that hit walls and cant turn in a car park

Same argument , all breeds have their uses , that's fact , all comes down to ground you run , game you persue , and top it all personel preference , run what you run and f**k other peoples opinions.

as already been said horses for courses but my personel preference is collie whippet greyhound i have found them to be great allrounders just my oppinion atb ryno

ive got a saluki whippet greyhound loves rabbits on the lamp brings em back to my hand lol

ive got a saluki whippet greyhound loves rabbits on the lamp brings em back to my hand lol

iv got a bullx cross and eats them on sight grate
