Hi Guys I know this may sound a bit stupid but can you advise me as to what is the best way to clean a laser lens for my night vision.

Any help would be good.

Shootingcharley.

You got the right answer on the bbs :thumbs:http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php?546693-Cleaning-a-laser-laser-lens.

Thanks guys but i don’t think i have put this over very well, what i need to know is not just what you use but the procedures you do it in such as do you turn the laser off before you clean if you are in the field if say you have rain drops on the lens.

I don't get rain on my laser, i put a 3" length of tube over the head which stops 99% of any rain, i still give it a wipe over after use and yes i turn the unit off.

This is something that has crossed my mind, what type of tube do you use.

Dip a cotton bud in some Iso Propyl Alcohol, rub it over the lens of the laser, then blow over the lens with compressed air. This evaporates the Alcohol. Don't do it when the laser is on. If you search Ebay for 'compressed air duster spray can' you can buy , you guessed it, compressed air in a can. For Iso Propyl Alcohol Google 'TMB Electronics Iso Propyl Alcohol', As for cotton buds......ask a woman, they got shit loads of the things.
