marty42 18
i was coming back from a walk a few days ago.an old man seen me dogs and he started talking to me bout the dogs anall.i told him i have ferrets aswell so he started talking bout ferrets. he was on bout a ferret muzzel, that he used ta make them himself and that he never got a kill with them. so i said what if the ferret came a cross a rat, wouldnt it need ta defend itself. he said that he had no bodder with rats. as soon as the ferret enters the burrow, if theres a rat in there it would bolt.. did anybody have any experence using muzzells. B.P.R 2,798
if the ferret had to defend itself it would be f****d. anything can be down the burrows, there was a post up recently about people finding rats, stoats, weasels etc down rabbit holes. i wouldnt muzzle mine, they need to defend themselves. catchwrestler 31
I had a cat bolt once , dread to think what it could have done to the ferret if it had stood its ground and he'd been muzzled Quote Link to post
CarraghsGem 92
what happens if you lose the ferret? wouldnt have much chance of survival if it was muzzled Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
what happens if you lose the ferret? wouldnt have much chance of survival if it was muzzled This little girl was lucky she was found by some walkers and handed in to me two years ago. So people still muzzle ferrets it's unbelievable in this day and age. Tucking into the first bit of food she had had in god knows how long. TC Quote Link to post
