rob190364 2,594
I just don't understand the relevance of these polls they keep carrying out when they're considering things like this. You ask the general public if there should be a cull and 90% will just immediately say no because they don't want a fluffy badger getting killed without any thought or understanding of any of the factors that need considering. It's such a pointless exercise!
Bosun11 537
Chances of that are slim to nil... Don't belive all you read..!
Malt 379
Chances of that are slim to nil... Don't belive all you read..! Spot on Bosun. The Welsh assembly Government spent years & vast amounts of money debating the issue & carrying out scientific studies, gave the go ahead for a trial in my area & then had a legal challenge from the fluffy brigade upheld against them over a technicality with the wording on the legislation. They then spent a whole lot more time and money redrawing the legislation to make it watertight, reintroduced it, gave the go ahead then promptly suspended the whole scheme indefinitely. Some of the people involved in the cull had already had their government licences issued, complete with photo identity badges. f**k knows how much money of ours they're wasting on it all together.
