robkeeper 0 Posted July 20, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 20, 2011 after handling ferrets notice one of my ferret has a large swelling right by her twat.its like a small bubble.anyone have any ideas what this is. i have never seen a thing like it before,she is ok apart from that(ps sorry for word twat couldnt think of another word to describe it) why do people like you keep ferrets when you havent the first clue about them your jills in season you muppet true however all the years ive had ferrets ive never had this problem before so how exactly does that make me a muppet? robkeeper 0 Posted July 20, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 20, 2011 thanks for all advice been to vets it was an infection because of season,she got a shot and is now recovering(it was not a serious infection) and we picked up another one it had been handed in.this ferret had a broken leg once it is mended its ours!thanks for all the help cheers rob Quote Link to post

Not only that but he does know what a ferret in season looks like. Yes it is an infection. My point is that Rob had never had a problem and wanted a second opinion. In fact the ferret was on its way to the vets that morning anyway and he belived that this was the problem. I did think it was an infection but you never know how much people know about ferrets especially lately. A jill can die. i thank everyone for there help on this matter and the ferret in question is now on the mend and the swelling has almost dissappeared .my only concern is that this was the first time i used this forum for help and when certain people(theferreter) left rude comments it shows an ignorance for the sport.anyone can have a problem they have never seen before or a new comer to the sport could be put off with stupid comments.the only way our sports will carry on is more people taking part.please think before adding stupid and useless comments as it is people like you who will do more harm than good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! remember this site is for information and meet new freinds not, to abuse and belittle people with less knowledge than yourself.thanks again for useful comments much appericated.cheers rob Quote Link to post
