mally 832
There a cracking gun mate, My friend shoots one and he owns a gunshop. I don't know wether they will take 67mm though as there chambered to 31/2" and you may find 70mm is the minimum they will fire. I know my remington 1187 super magnum thats chambered to 31/2" won't take anything less than 70mm. Quote Link to post

Hi jake As far as i'm aware the SX3 is also available in 3'' as well as 3.5 and should cycle 32 no 6's with no trouble at all. I bought my SX3 Composite 3.5'' about a year ago and it has never let me down once. As mally has already stated , the 3.5 chambered version like mine does prefer the larger 70mm carts , but saying that , when i first got the gun i had a few 67mm carts left over from my previous o/u and the SX3 also cycled these with no problems at all. As for shooting , i still can't believe how little recoil is felt compared to other semi auto's that i have used , but i suppose that is a matter of personal choice. I opted for the Composite model because my guns are only used for hunting , and i wanted a gun that would take the rough and tumble of field use without worrying about scratching the woodwork. At the end of the day i really can't praise the SX3 enough and cannot understand why somebody would go and pay a lot more money for another autoloader like a Beretta or Benelli , but again , i suppose that's personal choice. Here's a link to Winchesters home page and another link that shows how to completely strip / assemble the SX3. I hope you have many years of trouble free shooting with your new weapon , John Winchester Repeating Arms : http://www.winchesterguns.com/products/catalog/detail.asp?family=017C&mid=511053 SX3 Takedown : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z7wzy6WzIE SX3 Buildup : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW04Qvokxls Edited July 21, 2011 by mjr88 Quote Link to post
