The one 8,529 Posted July 18, 2011 Report Share Posted July 18, 2011 I always like to take the jill away from the kits for a good fortnight or a month ,it gives the jill a chance to dry up and let her have a break and build some condition back up .If you dont do it the kits might still be trying to feed from the jill till there rehomed ,or whatever 1 Quote Link to post

northern star 6 Posted July 18, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2011 Thanks all for your replies, i just wanted to remove my jill as she has lost a fair bit of condition, to give her a chance to dry the milk off and put some weight back on. I was thinking by giving them a decent amount of time away from the jill, it might stop them trying to suckle her .... thanks again for your replies Quote Link to post
