probably a silly quastion but can anyone recommend a decent Battery? my old Navara's battery is on its last legs and turns over very slow now.

expensive mate but worth every penny I have them on both of my landys and never been let down :thumbs:

should say a battery like that will last me through the toughest winter, last year with all the snow I only left the truck for a couple of days and it was flat :icon_eek:

the cold definitely don't affect them last winter we had to drag the truck back to the workshop cause the diesel had froze :blink: half an hour with the blast heater on the fuel tank and lines and it started first turn :thumbs:

the other thing thats bugging me about fitting a new Battery is will it bugger up the Imobiliser so it needs Re-programing again? I have read in the past that on some cars if the Battery is off for a certain period of time the Imob will need programing again :hmm:....

That could happen mate and the stereo if it is key coded...what about linking your lamping battery to the battery lead's before taking the old battery of..that way all the stuff that need's constant power will be ok.. :thumbs: ...i had to get a new battery to my navara just before the engine went bang and it cost me £90.
