nice pup that  , looks ok to me, as long as he been wormed which you said he is and he is eating enough thats it. How much grub his eating, when young give him as much as he will eat. Mine from that age to now lb raw mince chicken + 3 cups of meal a day, and mine look ok on it. With the exercise i wouldnt do alot with him, i go on time not miles with pups, good run about 45min 2 times aday. And your right the big deerhound types pups will grow differnt rate to bullxs or smaller typexs. He should be good for any quarry when older, i like deerhound in a lurcher  how big were is parents.!

yes mate he gets as much as he can eat fed twice a day, like i say gentle stroll every evening for a couple hours aint got the time to start exercising him seperately he just has to keep up but never get to the stage where he struggling far from it really still full of beans when back home,as romany said just got to get used to the different grow rate compared to what im used to thats all, think the sire was 30tts and the dam was 26tts,looks like a smooth coat but got quite a wirey feel along the back so guessing this will become more prominent as he grows.

retrieve still a bit hit and miss but not concentrating on it to much as yet but he will litteraly pick up anything, dont promote jumping but he think nothing of getting over fences/wires up to couple foot high no worries on the odd couple times out on our route, very inquisitive round the holes generaly so far so good

just over 4 month now about 20tts and 31ib(you aint the only one that can weigh a dog bird )wormed, grubs up well and gets plenty raw and the usual scraps but id like to see him carrying a bit more we

Pup looks good to me: one year up and one year out: that's the saying for sight hounds. Wouldn't expect him to look any different at this age. I have also noticed that quite a few Deer/Greys stay more

if i ever get caught out where i shouldnt be i can make a quick get away and ride the f****r home

I have also noticed that quite a few Deer/Greys stay more or less smooth coated until they are about 14-15 months old: then they start to sprout the classic rough coat. Like you said: there is a slightly wiry, wavy feel to the coat on the back. Some get the coats earlier than others. Be nice to see pics of him as he grows up: being a dog he won't reach full physical maturity until he is 3 years old.

looks ok to me whats his energy level like?

well put it this way i aint managed to tire him out yet

well i wouldn't worry about it then. some dogs just dont get big and cunkie. i have a bullx the same just dose not get big no matter what i feed her. all the best with it hope it works well for you it looks like a fine beast.

il be honest think he looks better in the pics than he does in the flesh :D cheers

if my memory serves me right he's a 3/4 grey 1/4 deerhound I think the breeding alone will tell you he ain't gonna be a heifer like most bull x pups lol I'm the same like chunky pups but you can only go with what you been delt, looks a cracker tho
